We are a friendly and busy family of five living in Dubai. We are looking for a live in nanny who can join our family and take care of our three children (ages 1, 3, and 5) and help with some household chores. We already have one nanny who has been with us for 2 years and you will share chores and a room with Rose. We also have a cleaner who comes 3 times a week.
The salary will be AED 2,000 per month, plus health insurance, annual leave, and flight tickets to your home country once a year. The start date is ASAP, and the contract is for one year, renewable upon mutual agreement. We will have a one week paid trial to ensure you are a good fit with out children.
The ideal nanny for our family is someone who has at least two years of experience working with young children, preferably in a live in setting. Fluent in English.. You should be loving, patient, energetic, creative, and reliable. You should enjoy playing with children, reading books, doing crafts, and going outdoors. You should also respect our family’s values and culture.
Your main responsibility is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our children. This includes:
•Preparing healthy meals and snacks for them
•Changing diapers and bathing them
•Dressing them and helping them with personal hygiene
•Playing with them and engaging them in educational activities
•Taking them to school, nursery, or other appointments
•Supervising their homework and reading
•Putting them to bed and ensuring they have a good night’s sleep
You will also assist with some household chores that are related to the children’s care. This includes:
•Washing and ironing their clothes
•Cleaning their rooms and play areas
•Organizing their toys and books
•Shopping for groceries and other essentials for them
•Running errands as needed
It will be a long day but not such a full day. The baby wakes at 6am – 6:30am and then the children all go bed around 7:30pm and once we have eaten and you have taken the plates away it can be 9pm. But there will be two nannies apart from at the weekends when you each will take alternate days off. You day off 6am – 11am would be working and then from 11am you are free to leave. We do not want you sleeping outside the home on your day off, however we are happy for you to come back at anytime.
