Shabdakalakshetra - School of Music, founded by Dr. Shyla Radhakrishnan, an institution envisioned to promote Indian art and music worldwide. Backed with a tradition of 30 years of teaching music, it took its current form in the year 2019, diversifying into teaching other genres of artforms. Shabdakalakshetra also organizes cultural programs, festivals etc. to promote art and artists.
About Dr. Shyla Radhakrishnan
Dr. Shyla Radhakrishnan, daughter of Late Sri Chettoor Radhakrishnan from Palakkad, Kerala.She is a Rank holder for B.A and M.A Music from Calicut University, Kerala. She holds a Ph. D in Music from Madurai Kamaraj University Tamil Nadu India. She has also Qualified National Eligibility Test for Lectureship (NET) with JRF from University Grants Commission- New Delhi India. Shyla Radhakrishnan has performed concerts in many esteemed platforms including Krishna Gana Sabha - Chennai for Chembai Festival and honored by none other than Padma Vibhushan Dr. K.J. Yesudas.
